Dream Havens

Borrow a Grandparent is responsible for coordinating all DreamHavens’ member service providers related to senior citizens. Borrow a Grandparent makes it possible to take advantage of one of the worlds most valuable and often forgotten natural resources - our senior population - and brings that wealth of knowledge and experience into the community. Borrow a Grandparent brings together qualified senior citizens interested in becoming part of an extended multi-generation family and DreamHavens’ recipient families wishing to benefit from the relationship. We make it possible for our children to learn to love and respect their elders and for viable seniors to feel and be useful as part of a family unit. This mutually beneficial arrangement provides the development of acceptable social skills to both the recipient senior citizen and the recipient family members. For senior citizens unable to join a multigenerational family, we will assist our member service providers in cooperation with DreamHavens’ Health and Wellness program to provide appropriately for their needs.
