Dream Havens

Freedom to Live provides temporary and permanent housing to qualified participants enrolled in any of the DreamHavens’ Family of Programs. Single-family homes and multi-family complexes will be used to provide shelter to those without. Freedom to Live is available to devitalized families and individuals, battered or abused families and individuals, homeless families and individuals, and any qualified recipient in need of temporary or permanent housing. In cooperation with the Learn to Fish program Freedom to Live provides valuable skills to the DreamHavens’ participants. Freedom to Live is also responsible for coordinating all DreamHavens’ member service providers related to the area of housing. DreamHavens’ member service providers will assist in the acquisition of all types of real properties. Service providers will also coordinate landscaping and grounds maintenance, building construction and repair, upkeep and maintenance, and furnishings and fixtures. Note: DreamHavens’ control of properties used in the Freedom to Live program allows for low cost lease or rental fees, financing for purchase, or other value exchange that encourages the revitalization of the recipient.
